“We had an absolutely lovely and amazing lunch at Bridgewater Bistro…the views of the Columbia River and Astoria-Megler Bridge are to die for.  The Red Building was rebuilt and restored so it is modern and sleek with soaring ceilings and windows from the sea to the sky.  But they’ve retained some of the history with the well worn and restored wood floors and old-growth fir beams.  They even have a glass bottom floor by the fireplace so you can look down to the water below.”

“The restaurant is an old cannery and has been converted beautifully. Large planking floors, high ceilings and a gorgeous selection of wines and spirits displayed everywhere. I had their steak, and my sister had their pork dish, and the food was out of this world tasty. OH, and don’t forget dessert. I had the silk pie and it was divine, I asked for a spoon to get every drop of the espresso ganache…”
