Wintering Over

Spring is coming…really it is! The kales and arugula and mustard greens in our kitchen garden have wintered over, and their flowers are brightening up the beds and giving us some lovely garnishes and greens.  The chocolate mint is looking good enough to eat!  Our new gardener, Cesily, will be adding some soil amendments to the garden next week–and perhaps some diatomaceous earth to counteract the leaf hoppers that have snuck into the garden this month.
